Kyle and Rachel first met while attending film school at Loyola Marymount University. They both worked at the the student-run ROAR TV Network. While Kyle was editing meaningful content such as a documentary about the homeless population in Los Angeles, Rachel was working hard cleaning the office popcorn machine.

They remained friends throughout college, and after graduation Kyle moved back to the Bay Area after accepting a job opportunity, while Rachel stayed in LA.

They kept in touch on and off throughout their early twenties, but one fateful night, Kyle came into town to visit friends and invited Rachel to come along. They drove 45 minutes outside of LA to eat fried rice, and for whatever reason, a spark was ignited, both on the hibiachi grill and within Kyle and Rachel's hearts.

One long year of long distance-dating led to Rachel moving up to the Bay Area so they could live together, and well, the rest is history...
